The best time to water a garden is in the morning between 04h00 and 06h00 depending on the season. This allows time for the water to be absorbed by the soil particles, before plants start the photosynthesis process and extract water from the ground.
The same process occurs if you water your garden late in the afternoon. However, be cautious of watering too late as insufficient drying time will enhance fungal and bacterial growth on plants. Specialists therefore recommend watering a garden in the morning.
